How To Make A Big Fuss Over Dad This Father’s Day

giant-smiley-fortune-cookie250You know they rarely admit it, but most dads enjoy being the center of attention on Father’s Day…even if the pancakes aren’t as good as mom makes. This year why not skip the tie or golf balls or whatever your default gift is, and send dad something truly surprising and fun: one of our tasty giant fortune cookies. Since we bake the world’s largest fortune cookie (over a pound!) there’s lots of room inside for a nice long custom message from you.

It can be easy to take dads for granted, especially if you got lucky in the Father Lottery, and he’s always been there for you when you needed help. So why not take some time to plan an extra special Father’s Day this year, full of heartfelt surprises and your undivided attention. Spoil him silly. Stick a flower in his buttonhole. Give him a funny balloon. Watch the U.S. Open with him, even if you hate golf. Let him know you appreciate him every day of the year.

9hThis will be the first year our daughter doesn’t get to do any of those things, since Mike Fry passed away last year, so take it from us—celebrate every chance you get, any day of the year. Even with burnt pancakes.
