2019 is the Year of the Pig
Just when January really starts to seep into your bones and spring seems way too far off, how about planning something fun–a Chinese New Year Party! And best of all it lasts for over two weeks, from the eve of February 4 through the finale, the Lantern Festival on February 19, 2019.
Of course we’re baking all sorts of fun piggy inspired fortune cookies to celebrate with, and they all come filled with inspiring and uplifting messages for the year ahead.
Even though fortune cookies are not Chinese at all, and were in fact invented in San Francisco, they are forever associated with Chinese food, and thus make the ideal thing to serve at any Chinese New Year celebration. We have many selections to choose from, so feel free to go hog wild!
